Prof. Haoyong Chen, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Electric Power Engineering, South China University of Technology, Executive Deputy Director of National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Wind Power Control and Grid Technology / Guangdong Key Laboratory of Green Energy Technology / Guangdong Wind Power Control and Grid Engineering Laboratory, Director of the Institute of Power Economics and Electricity Markets, Winner of National Exellent Youth Science Fund / New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education / Guangdong Electric Power Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award / High-level Talents of Guangdong Province, IEEE Senior Member. He serves as a director of the China Electrotechnical Society and the deputy director of the Intelligent Distributed Energy Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation. He is member of Committee on Renewable Energy Generation and Integration/Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, Power System Control and Protection/China Electrotechnical Society, Committee on Energy Internet/China Energy Research Association (CERA), Task Force on Integrated Energy and Re-Electrification/ CERA, Committee on Energy Internet/Chinese Society of Automation, Committee on Intelligent Energy System/Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. For a long time, Prof. Chen Haoyong has focused on the key academic fields of complex (large-scale, stochastic, hybrid, distributed, networked) power (energy) system modeling, analysis, optimization and control. His main research directions include new energy power generation and Smart Grids, Integrated Energy System and Energy Internet of Things, power economics and electricity markets, etc.

Amrane Abdeltif is a professor – Exceptional class, UMR CNRS 6226 ISCR, University of Rennes 1. (Google Scholar: h-index: 49; citations: 9658 // Scopus: h-index: 40; citations: 6514). 1998: Thesis Director Enabling Degree (Univ. Rennes 1) / 1991: PhD in Chemistry (Univ. Rennes 1) / 1988: Master (DEA) in Chemistry (Univ. Rennes 1) / 1987: Chemical Engineering Degree (USTHB – Algeria). For approximately 15 years, his research has been entirely devoted to the development of combined processes for the removal of organic pollutants in effluent wastewater and gaseous emissions within the CIP team. He has managed 12 PhD theses as thesis director, and 3 are in progress. He has also co-managed 17 PhD theses, and 6 co-management theses are in progress. He has been involved as a manager or a participant in several national and international projects, as well in international collaborations (Algeria, Belgium, Hungary, Iran, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Tunisia, etc.). He has published more than 390 international papers including 15 papers in the press. He is the co-editor of three books (Elsevier). He has also published 12 chapter books and has approximately 130 international and 20 national oral communications.
