Assis.Pro.Po-Jung Huang, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan

Research Area:

Nanomaterial, microfluidic system, environmental sensors

Research Experience:

Dr Po-Jung Huang received the B.S. degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from Chang Gung University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 2007, the M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2009. The PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Texas A&M University, U.S.A, in 2017. He achieved the PhD degree in Creating Collagen 3D Microenvironment by Developing Pneumatic Actuated Soft Micromold (PASMO) for Biological Application”.

He is now an Assistnat Professor with the Institute of Environmental Engineering, the National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU). His research is focus on converting solid waste to nanomaterial applying in environmental treatment. In addition, another research concentrates on the development of hydrogel-based devices for single molecular detection, especially environmental toxin achieving real-time detection. He led to organize an issue on “Using 3D Printer to Develop Multifunctional Hydrogels and Modulation of Hydrogels for Wastewater Treatment” in 2018. He is a current member of SPIE.
