Research Experience:

Academic Degrees

PhD in Civil Engineering at the Aveiro University, in 2008. Master degree in Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, in 2002. Civil Engineering degree (five years course) at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, in 1999.

Scientific Activity

Book chapters (5), scientific papers in international (29) and national journals (16), and proceeding papers in international (89) and national conferences (54).

He has supervised 3 PhD thesis and is presently supervising 5 PhD thesis and 6 master thesis (in developement). Supervised 42 finished master thesis. He is also supervising a 2 post-doc students.
